“I plan to use the financial assistance to attend Colorado School of Mines, one of Colorado’s most prestigious engineering universities. I plan to pursue a degree in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering. I would like to work to create an efficient and inexpensive alternative fuel or automobile that would reduce our nation’s dependence on oil and petroleum products. I would like to develop an alternative form of energy through an inexpensive and non-harmful chemical reaction. Many of our nation’s problems could be addressed with a more affordable form of transportation that does not release harmful gasses into... ”
