“I have been privileged to work with special needs peers at my high school. I have been a peer tutor to them and a friend. Because I have seen first hand the physical challenges that my disabled friends face on a daily basis, I have decided to be a nurse. What drives me? My disabled friends drive me to be a better person. Each of them possesses such wonderful gifts. When you spend time with them it is easy to see what each of them have been blessed with and in return they bless my life abundantly.”
