“The reason that biomedical engineering drives me is that I will be able to work with robotics and computers to make the lives of others easier and less painful. I am also interested in creating new, more effi cient devices and prostheses that are less expensive and more widely available. Because I will be working with devices that are going to be part of a human being, I will need knowledge of the human body equal or greater than that of the average health care worker. ”
